St Patrick's Festival, Dublin: One City, One Book 'One Book' Bookshop

To celebrate the recent publication of If Ever You Go: A Map of Dublin in Poetry & Song, St Patrick's Festival 2014 presents a weekend of songs and poetry readings from some of Ireland's best known living poets. The readings take place at the Discover Ireland Tourism Centre, Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, on the afternoons of Saturday 15th & Sun 16th March. All are welcome to what will be a unique opportunity for visitors and Dubliners alike to meet Irish poets and musicians and to mark the publication of a unique verse record of the city. Seating is limited so come early. Books on sale and authors available for signings.

Saturday 15th March Sunday 16th March
1.00 pm: WB YEATS IN ICELANDIC AND ENGLISH Poet Andres Eiricksson reads his Icelandic translations of favourite Yeats poems, with writer Brian Leyden reading the originals 11.30 am: DUBLIN SONGS Pat Good and Jimmy Kelly, brother of the legendary Luke Kelly, present a selection of favourite Dublin songs.
2.00 pm: READING Poets Philip Casey, Gerard Smyth and Jean O’Brien read their own and favourite Dublin poems 12.00 noon: READING Poet Dermot Bolger reads his own and favourite Dublin poems from If Ever You Go.
3.00 pm: READING Poets Catherine Ann Cullen and Tony Curtis read their own and some favourite Dublin poems. With special musical guest! 12.30 pm: READING Poets Gerard Fanning and Brian Lynch read their own and favourite Dublin poems.
4.00 pm: READING Poets Mark Granier, Eileen Casey and Declan Collinge read from If Ever You Go: A Map of Dublin in Poetry & Song 1.00 pm: READING Poets Pat Boran and Nessa O’Mahony read from If Ever You Go.
5.00 pm: READING Poets Michael O’Loughlin and Jessica Traynor read their own and favourite Dublin poems. 1.30 pm: READING Poets Enda Coyle-Greene and Noel Duffy read from If Ever You Go

2.00 pm: READING Poets Enda Wyley and Peter Sirr read from If Ever You Go: A Map of Dublin in Poetry & Song
