Cuirfidh Mouth on Fire, compántas a bhfuil gradaim idirnáisiúnta buaite aige, dhá mhórdhráma le William Butler Yeats i láthair le linn Sheachtain na Gaeilge, chomh maith le dorn dánta leis á n-aithris agus á gcanadh. Beidh cuid de mhóraisteoirí na hÉireann páirteach san iarnóin ardsiamsaíochta seo.
Páirteach ann tá Donncha Crowley (a raibh ról aige in King Arthur, Father Ted, Angela’s Ashes agus Kings) Micheál Ó Gruagáin (Grabbers, Killinascully, Corp agus Anam), an dís sin in An Cat agus an Ghealach (The Cat and the Moon), agus Macdara Ó Fátharta, tábhairneoir Ros na Rún, i bpáirt an Ghutha.
Ina dhiaidh sin, beidh deis ag an lucht féachana an chéad léiriú riamh a fheiceáil den dráma is fearr de chuid an Yeatsaigh dar lena lán, is é sin Purgadóir.
Páirteach ann tá Donncha Crowley agus Eddie Mullarkey. Gabriel Rosenstock, an file nótáilte, a chuir na haistriúcháin bhinne Ghaeilge ar fáil.

International Award winning theatre-company Mouth on Fire presents two of William Butler Yeats’s greatest plays for Seachtain na Gaeilge 2017 - together with a selection of Yeats’s poems sung and spoken in an afternoon of great entertainment, starring some of Ireland’s best known actors.
Donncha Crowley (best known for King Arthur, Father Ted, Angela’s Ashes and Kings) pairs with veteran actor Micheál Ó Gruagáin (Grabbers, Killinascully, Corp agus Anam) in An Cat agus an Ghealach (The Cat and the Moon), while Macdara Ó Fátharta, Ros na Rún’s most famous bar man, features as the Voice.
This is followed by the World Premiere of Purgadóir - of what many consider Yeats’s best play, Purgatory - starring Donncha Crowley and Eddie Mullarkey. Wonderfully translated by the internationally renowned poet Gabriel Rosenstock.
The plays will be interspersed with some of Yeats’s greatest poetry - Easter 1916, The Song of Wandering Aengus, The Lake Isle of Innisfree – performed by Cathal Quinn and sung by musician Enda Reilly.
