A Fire that Burns is a poem in Irish and English by Gabriel Rosenstock written in response to an article by Caitlin Johnstone.
A Fire That Burns
There is a real fire that burns the heart
Sometimes it is made of flames
Sometimes it is made of words
And forms a poem
When the poem is spoken aloud
The syllables turn into tongues of flame
Tine Loiscthe
Tá fíorthine ann a loisceann croí an duine
Uaireanta is de lasracha í
Uaireanta is de bhriathra í
As a gcruthaítear dán
Má dhéantar an dán a aithris os ard
Iompaíonn na siollaí ina dteangacha tine
